Hola, soy Manuel Ventura y esta es la carta Tu Historia en Mi Voz. Hoy no vas a contar tu historia. Vas a contar la de otra persona. ¿Qué historia de un compañero te gustaría contar tú? Para hacerlo bien, primero tienes que escuchar. Siéntate con alguien de tu grupo y hazle preguntas abiertas: ¿qué es lo que más te importa?, ¿cuál ha sido un momento que te cambió?, ¿qué casi nadie sabe de ti? Escucha sin interrumpir, toma notas y pide ejemplos. Luego cuenta su historia en un minuto, con respeto, como si fueras periodista. Y antes de compartirla, pídele permiso y pregúntale si la contaste bien. Vas a descubrir que escuchar de verdad también es una forma de cuidar a las personas.

Hi, I'm Manuel Ventura, and this is the Your Story, My Voice card. Today you're not telling your story. You're telling someone else's. Which classmate's story would you like to tell? To do it well, you first have to listen. Sit with someone from your group and ask open questions: What matters most to you? What's a moment that changed you? What does almost nobody know about you? Listen without interrupting, take notes and ask for examples. Then tell their story in one minute, with respect, like a journalist. And before you share it, ask for their permission and check whether you told it right. You'll discover that really listening is also a way of caring for people.
