Hi, I'm Manuel Ventura, and this is the My Audience card. What does your family need to hear, what does your mentor need, and what do your classmates need? Imagine you're about to share what you learned this term. Your mom wants to know if you're okay and how much you've grown. Your mentor wants to know if you understood the work. Your classmates want something useful or inspiring for them. If you talk to everyone the same way, someone will tune out. Today I want you to write your core message and then adapt it for three people: which example you'd use with each, which words you'd avoid and what question you think they'd ask. It's not about changing your story. It's about making sure it reaches every person listening.

El mismo mensaje
no llega igual a todos.
The same message
doesn't land the same way for everyone.

01
At your exhibition, very different people are listening: your family wants to know how you feel and how much you've grown; your mentor, what you learned from the work; your classmates, what they can learn from you. Each one hears something different.
02
This card teaches you to think about your audience before you speak: what they know, what they care about and what words they understand.
03
Adaptar tu mensaje no es cambiar quién eres. Es respetar a quien te escucha. Los grandes comunicadores lo hacen siempre.
Adapting your message isn't changing who you are. It's respecting the people listening. Great communicators do it all the time.

Act as my learning and storytelling coach. I'm a student working with the “My Audience” card from The Creative Decks, which asks: “What does your family need to hear, what does your mentor need, and what do your classmates need?” Your role is not to write for me: it's to help me think. 1. Help me adapt my message to three audiences (my family, my mentor and my classmates); first ask me what my core message is and what each person knows and expects. Ask me 5 questions, one at a time, and wait for my answer before moving on. 2. If my answer is vague, ask me for a concrete example: a moment, a place, a person or a number. 3. When I'm done, help me organize MY answers into a table with my core message and, for each audience, the example, vocabulary, tone and one likely question with my answer. 4. Then ask me which format I'll turn it in as (presentation, document, essay, speech or class) and give me only the structure so I can write it myself. Rules: don't invent experiences or data; don't ask for personal information like my last name, address or school name; use clear language for my age; and tell me which parts I should review with my teacher or mentor. Start with the first question.

🛡️ IA segura: 4 reglasSafe AI: 4 rules
  • The AI asks, you write. Your ideas and your voice are what get assessed.
  • Don’t share personal data: last names, address, phone number or your school’s name.
  • Use the AI your school allows and follow your teacher’s rules.
  • Be transparent: if you used AI, say so and explain how it helped.
