Hola, soy Manuel Ventura y esta es la carta La Prueba. ¿Qué trabajo tuyo demuestra mejor lo que aprendiste, y por qué? Ojo: no te pregunto cuál es el más bonito. Te pregunto cuál es la mejor prueba de tu aprendizaje. A veces es un proyecto terminado, pero otras veces es un borrador con errores que muestra cómo mejoraste. Hoy quiero que revises tu portafolio y elijas tres piezas. Para cada una responde: ¿qué aprendí con esto?, ¿qué habilidad demuestra? y ¿cómo se nota que mejoré? Si puedes explicar eso en treinta segundos por pieza, ya tienes el corazón de tu exhibición. Recuerda: un buen portafolio no es un álbum. Es un argumento.

Hi, I'm Manuel Ventura, and this is The Proof card. Which piece of your work best shows what you learned, and why? Careful: I'm not asking which one is the prettiest. I'm asking which one is the best proof of your learning. Sometimes it's a finished project, but other times it's a draft full of mistakes that shows how you improved. Today I want you to look through your portfolio and choose three pieces. For each one, answer: What did I learn from this? What skill does it show? How can you tell I improved? If you can explain that in thirty seconds per piece, you already have the heart of your exhibition. Remember: a good portfolio isn't an album. It's an argument.

Saying “I learned a lot” doesn't convince anyone. Showing a concrete piece of work and explaining what it proves does. This card helps you choose your best evidence.
